Leader of Russian occupiers in Crimea says 1,200 Crimean residents fighting against Ukraine

Sergey Aksyonov, head of the Russian occupation government in Crimea, said that 1,200 Crimean residents are taking part in the war against Ukraine on Russia’s side.

Details: Aksyonov said that over 1,200 "volunteers" from Russian-occupied Crimea are taking part in hostilities as part of Russia’s so-called "special military operation".
He claimed that "boys of different ages who want to take part in the special military operation" appeal to him "on an almost daily basis".
"We are working together with the Ministry of Defence; in the next ten days, another 100 volunteers will set off for the front," he stated.
Krym.Realii reported that it is impossible to verify the information provided by Aksyonov while hostilities are ongoing.
