Quote: "Today, a bright holiday with a bitter taste of nostalgia took place in the occupied territories. Parents, in the best Soviet tradition, are forced to buy colourful flags of the so-called ‘Russia’ and ‘LPR’ at their own expense.
And, according to Nazi traditions, books written in Ukrainian are being withdrawn from school libraries. And this applies not only to fiction, but also to educational and methodological literature."
Details: In addition, school administrations in the newly annexed territories are introducing a specific class hour where children are brainwashed by studying the national anthems of Russia and its puppet republics.
The Oblast State Administration also reports that in Svatovo, the invaders staged an air attack with explosions during the solemn school assembly.
The so-called minister of education of the LPR, who was sent to Luhansk from Moscow, addressed the first-graders in Stanytsia Luhanska.
Background: Kherson Oblast Administration reports that on 1 September, the invaders started planting their vision of history for Ukrainian children who still came to school on Knowledge Day.
