Occupiers try to take control of entire Donetsk Oblast; attacks repelled on 4 fronts – General Staff

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled the offensive by Russian invaders on the Sloviansk, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka fronts; the occupying forces took losses and retreated.

Details: The invaders are trying to establish full control over the territory of Donetsk Oblast and to hold the seized areas of Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv oblasts.
On the Volyn and Polissia fronts, the situation remains without significant changes. Units of the Armed Forces of Belarus are strengthening the defences on a section of the Belarusian-Ukrainian border, namely, in Brest and Gomel oblasts (Belarus).
There is still a threat of the occupying forces launching missile and air strikes from the territory and airspace of Belarus.
On the Sivershchyna front, the Russian Armed Forces are holding several different units in the border areas of Bryansk and Kursk oblasts (Russia). The Russian army attacked the areas of Kamianska Sloboda, Zaliznyi Mist, Senkivka in Chernihiv Oblast and Starykove in Sumy Oblast, using mortars and tubed artillery.
On the Slobozhanshchyna front, Russian soldiers continue shooting, aiming to hold the previously occupied areas.
On the Kharkiv front, Russians attacked targets in the areas of Udy, Sosnivka, Velyki Prokhody, Pytomnyk, Ruska Lozova, Ruski Tyshky, Cherkaski Tyshky, Staryi Saltiv and Pryshyb using tank weapons, tubed and rocket artillery.
On the Sloviansk front, the invaders’ units opened fire near the settlements of Hrushuvakha, Velyka Komyshuvakha, Vernopillia, Dolyna, Krasnopillia, Dibrivne and Nova Dmytrivka, using tubed artillery and multiple rocket systems.
Russian combat aircraft delivered strikes near the settlements of Nova Dmytrivka and Bohorodychne.
They made an attempt to attack in the area of Dolyna, but failed and retreated.
On the Kramatorsk front, the Russian army fired at areas near the settlements of Raihorodok, Piskunivka, Siversk, Verkhnokamianske, Ivano-Darivka, Spirne and Rozdolivka using tanks, mortars, tubed and rocket artillery.
On the Bakhmut front, the Russian forces attacked the vicinities of the settlements of Vesele, Yakovlivka, Vyimka, Bilohorivka, Krasnopolivka, Zvanivka, Soledar, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Maiorsk, and Vesela Dolyna with tanks, tubed and rocket artillery.
They tried to advance near the settlements of Vesela Dolyna, Soledar, Bakhmutske and Zaytseve, but failed and withdrew.
On the Avdiivka front, the Russian forces opened fire near the areas of the settlements of Oleksandropil, Rozivka, Tonenke, Avdiivka, Karlivka, Vodiane, Opytne, Pervomaiske and Pisky using tanks, mortars and tubed artillery.
The occupiers landed airstrikes near the settlements of Vremivka, Neskuchne and Oleksandropil.
Russian invaders tried to improve their tactical position in the areas of the settlements of Pervomaiske, Nevelske and Opytne with offensive actions; they failed, suffered losses and retreated.
On the Novopavlivka front, they shelled the areas of Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Novomykhailivka, Velyka Novosilka and Prechystivka. An airstrike was delivered in the area of the settlement of Marinka.
The occupiers tried to improve their tactical position in the area of the settlement of Vodiane, but failed and withdrew.
On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Russian forces attacked facilities near the settlements of Novopil, Olhivske, Huliaipole and Luhivske.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, the invaders used tanks, mortars and tubed artillery to hit important facilities in the areas of the settlements of Potomkyne, Andriivka, Novohryhorivka, Shyroke, Partyzanske, Novopetrivka, Liubomyrivka, Shevchenkove, Stepova Dolyna, Tavriiske, Lupareve, Oleksandrivka, Pervomaiske, Lozove and Olhyne.
The Russian naval group in the waters of the Black and Azov seas continues to conduct reconnaissance, supporting the actions of the ground troops and blocking civilian shipping.
There is still a threat of missile strikes on facilities and infrastructure elements deep in the territory of Ukraine.
