The configuration of Europe for the next 50-100 years is being decided in Ukraine – Podoliak

Mykhaiko Podoliak, advisor to the head of the Office of the President, believes that European countries must help Ukraine win the war against Russia because the configuration of the European community in the next century depends on it.

Details: Mykhailo Podoliak, the advisor to Andrii Yermak, head of the President’s Office, told the French newspaper that Russian President Vladimir Putin wants to take over Ukraine completely and destroy its statehood, but will not stop at that.

Podoliak believes world leaders need to understand that this war is a war of democracy against authoritarianism. If Russia wins, it will dominate in Europe and will try to encroach on other countries such as Poland, the Baltic states and Moldova.

"I also tell our partners that if Russia wins, it will remain unpunished for its horrific war crimes, which the whole world has now seen," Podoliak added.

Podoliak is convinced that victory over Russia will ensure a peaceful future for Europe and countries in other parts of the world, a future without energy, migration or food crisis blackmail and without the threat of a new armed conflict.

Quote: "Ukrainians are ready to die for freedom, and they are dying for it. Europe’s task is simply to support us. Give us weapons, give us financial aid, give us the opportunity to win this war!

We are ready to give our blood for people to remain free, for the European Union to remain free. The historical configuration of the European community for the next fifty to one hundred years is being determined today."
