Armed Forces of Ukraine neutralise several Russian subversion and reconnaissance groups in Luhansk Oblast – Haidai

Every day, the Russian forces are trying to create favourable conditions for themselves in order to strengthen the offensive in Luhansk Oblast, but they are meeting with a worthy rebuff from the armed forces of Ukraine.

Details: According to Haidai, the invaders once again tried to conduct an offensive in the area of Verkhnokamianske, but once again withdrew.

Such attempts to break through the defences of Ukraine’s Armed Forces were also unsuccessful in four other areas: the Russians were forced to retreat with significant losses.

The Ukrainian armed forces found and neutralised enemy reconnaissance groups near four settlements.

Quote from Haidai: "Last night alone, they [the invaders] launched seven missiles and two airstrikes, fired 11 times from barrel artillery and multiple launch rocket systems, used mortars three times, and tank troops joined the assault four times.

Each of these attempts resulted in a few more ruined houses, broken destinies and shattered hopes of our fellow countrymen.

In total, during 7 August, the invaders attacked seven settlements on the border of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions from the air."
