Russia loses 300 soldiers in a day – General Staff

During 6 August, the Armed Forces of Ukraine killed 300 Russian soldiers; Russia has lost over 42,000 military personnel in the course of its full-scale military invasion in Ukraine.

Details: The General Staff noted that Russian troops  suffered their heaviest losses on the Donetsk front. 

Total combat losses of the Russian forces between 24 February and 6 August 2022 are estimated to be [figures in parentheses represent the latest losses - ed.]:

• 4,055 (+4) armoured combat vehicles
• 958 (+3) artillery systems
• 260 (+0) multiple-launch rocket systems
• 132 (+5) air defence systems

• 750 (+6) operational-tactical UAVs
• 182 (+0) cruise missiles
• 15 (+0) ships/boats
• 2,978 (+8) vehicles and tankers
• 86 (+1) special vehicles
