Rubizhne: Russian occupiers bury bodies of over 50 Ukrainians killed in April
ROMAN PETRENKO – SUNDAY, 7 AUGUST 2022, 08:52
Russian occupying forces have only recently buried the bodies of 63 civilian residents of Rubizhne (Luhansk Oblast) whom the Russians killed over four months ago.
Source: Serhii Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, on Telegram
Quote from Haidai: "The Russians had begun by inspecting the territories of social infrastructure facilities [i.e., schools and kindergartens, hospitals, sports facilities, apartment buildings, etc. - ed.].
The question that begs asking is: couldn’t they have started [doing this] even later? The Russians seized a large part of Rubizhne in April. Did they really have to wait until the hottest months?
Almost four months have passed, and they’re only now beginning to gather the bodies, which have up until now been lying on the streets."
