On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian occupying forces were systematically deploying all of the firearms at their disposal to attack the units leading the Ukrainian defence as well as those in the rear positions. The Russians’ goal is to maintain their current positions and to prevent the Ukrainian Defence Forces from creating conditions favourable to mounting a counteroffensive and liberating temporarily occupied territories.

Russian army aircraft carried out airstrikes near Andriivka and the Russians also deployed UAVs to conduct aerial reconnaissance in southern Ukraine.
