Russia strikes Sumy Oblast over 60 times on 5 August, 1 civilian injured

Russian forces opened fire on Sumy Oblast five times over the course of Friday, 5 August, firing a total of over 60 munitions and injuring one civilian.

Details: The Russian forces fired on the amalgamated territorial communities (hromadas) of Seredyna-Buda, Esman and Hlukhiv.
During an attack on the district of Shostka, the Russians hit a civilian home, injuring a 52-year-old man. He has been hospitalised. The total number of buildings damaged in the attack is being verified.
In addition, the Russian bombardments have damaged the electric grid: 71 households in the district of Shostka currently have no electricity. Zhyvytskyi said that it would be restored as soon as possible.
