Ukrainian Armed Forces repel Russian offensives on 4 fronts – General Staff report

The Armed Forces of Ukraine have repelled Russian occupying forces’ attempts to advance on the Kharkiv, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka fronts.

Details: There were no significant changes on the Volyn, Polissia and Sivershchyna fronts. Russian forces fired mortars and artillery on areas in and around Hai and Bleshnia (Chernihiv Oblast) and Dmytrivka and Kindrativka (Sumy Oblast) and are continuing to use UAVs to conduct aerial reconnaissance of areas near the Ukrainian border.

On the Kharkiv front, the Russians used tank guns, combat vehicles, and tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in and around Duvanka, Sosnivka, Ruska Lozova, Cherkaski Tyshky, Tsyrkuny, Staryi Saltiv, Shestakove, Nortsivka and Husarivka. They are continuing to actively deploy UAVs to conduct reconnaissance in the area. Russian aircraft carried out airstrikes in the vicinity of Ruski Tyshky. Russian troops also made an unsuccessful attempt to advance on Prudianka.

On the Sloviansk front, Russian forces fired on the positions of the Ukrainian Armed Forces in the vicinity of Dolyna, Bohorodychne and Dibrivne and conducted an airstrike near Virnopillia. Moreover, the Russians are attempting to improve their logistics and supply systems.

On the Kramatorsk front, the Russians used tubed and rocket artillery to fire on areas in the vicinity of Vesele, Bohorodychne, Zakitne, Hryhorivka and Spirne. Russian aircraft carried out airstrikes on areas in and around Spirne and Ivano-Dar’ivka.

On the Bakhmut front, Russian occupying forces fired on military and civilians infrastructure in and around Bakhmut, Soledar, Zaitseve and Kodema.

The Ukrainian Defence Forces repelled Russian attempts to advance on Vesela Dolyna, Bakhmut, Zaitseve, Maiorsk and Kodema.

On the Avdiivka front, Russian troops fired on areas in the vicinity of Avdiivka, Opytne, Umanske, Pervomaiske and Staromykhailivka using tanks, tubed artillery and rocket artillery. They attempted to advance on Avdiivka, Pervomaiske, Krasnohorivka and Mar’inka but were unsuccessful, suffered losses and retreated.

On the Novopavlivka front, the Russians fired on the positions of Ukrainian troops near Novomykhailivka, Prechystivka and Velyka Novosilka. Their attempts to improve their tactical positions near Pobieda were unsuccessful.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, the Russians fired on areas in and around Burlatske, Kamianske, Novopil, Huliaipole, Orikhiv, Zaliznychne, Vremivka, Novoivanivka and Mala Tokmachka. Russian aircraft conducted airstrikes near Chervone, Dorozhnianka and Novosilka.

Russian forces are focusing their main efforts on the Pivdennyi Buh front on maintaining their current positions and are taking measures to replenish their losses and supplies. They used tank guns, as well as tubed and rocket artillery, to fire on areas in and around Oleksandrivka, Lupareve, Chervonyi Yar, Kyselivka, Kvitneve, Velyke Artakove, Shevchenkove, Mykolaiv, Bila Krynytsia, Posad-Pokrovske, Olhyne, Dobrianka and Topolyne. Russian aircraft carried out airstrikes on areas in and around Andriivka, Olhyne and Plotnytske. Russian forces are continuing to actively deploy UAVs to conduct aerial reconnaissance in southern Ukraine.
