Quote: "A 17-year old boy was killed in the Synelnykove district. He touched a cluster munition, which detonated [upon his touch]…
This is the eighth death in the [Dnipropetrovsk] Oblast caused by these munitions.
I have asked [you] before and I’m asking [you] again! Please do not approach explosives, which remain [scattered] following enemy attacks. Refrain from going to the forest and other areas where there might be remnants of cluster munitions."
Details: Reznichenko reminded the residents of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast that if they find a suspicious object, they should call rescue workers or police.
Cluster munitions are extremely hazardous because they remain unsafe for some time after they have been fired and can detonate later on.
