Ukrainian Air Force shoots down another Russian UAV in Odesa Oblast

Ukraine’s anti-aircraft defence systems took down a Russian unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) in the skies over Odesa Oblast on the morning of 30 August. The Russian drone was gathering intelligence data in the area.

Quote from Odesa City Council: "[The UAV] approached [Odesa Oblast] from the direction of the sea this morning and was reconnoitring the situation in the Odesa district.

Anti-aircraft defence units destroyed the enemy ‘spy’."

• Ukrainian anti-aircraft forces from the Air Command Tsentr (Centre) shot down a Russian UAV on the morning of Sunday, 28 August.
• On 24 August, Ukrainian air defence forces brought down a Russian UAV in Chernihiv Oblast and in the skies over Vinnytsia Oblast.
