Almost 70% of Russians have never left their country

Russian sociologists have reported that 69% of Russians have never been abroad, according to their survey.

Quote: "The Public Opinion Foundation found that 69% of Russians have never been abroad, and 30% have never travelled to other [Russian] regions."
Details: 62% of Russians said that their trip in Russia left a "good" impression.
Moreover, 33% of respondents said that they would like to go on a trip to Baikal lake, 28% to occupied Crimea, 27% to St. Petersburg, 25% to Sochi and the Krasnodar Krai, 24% to Altai, 18% to Karelia, 14% to Kamchatka and the North Caucasus.
Background: Russian sociologists have found out that 35% of Russian citizens believe that the Sun revolves around the Earth. The number of Russians sharing this belief has increased by 7% over 15 years.
