Occupiers announce "workplace evacuation" in Nova Kakhovka

A "workplace evacuation" was announced in occupied Nova Kakhovka on 29 August.

Details: The occupiers claim that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are launching attacks on the city, some of them using HIMARS multiple-launch rocket systems. 

The so-called "mayor" of Nova Kakhovka said that the area around the Hydroelectric Station is being shelled. Residents of the city are in bomb shelters, and the air-raid siren sounds continuously.

• Operational Command Pivden (South) has confirmed that Ukrainian troops have broken through the first line of Russians defence in Kherson Oblast on 29 August.
• The Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Beryslav Machine Building Plant in Kherson Oblast, where the invaders had concentrated their equipment and manpower, on 29 August.
