Serhii Haidai, Head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, said that powerful blasts rocked a Russian military base in the Russian-occupied city of Svatove in Luhansk Oblast.

Quote: "Something happened at night, this time in our Svatove. They had a [military] base there; almost all of their troops had already left Svatove, leaving behind only the police of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblast [i.e., a Russian-controlled police force - ed.].
There was an agrarian [facility where they had their] base and where they were carrying out redeployment operations. And so some sort of ‘cotton’ happened at that base… [Сotton, or бавовна in Ukrainian, refers to how Russian propaganda, initially refusing to use the word взрыв (explosion), used хлопок (a clap) instead. However, хлопок also means cotton, which has since become a meme - ed.]
Two hours ago, [the base] was still exploding and aflame."
Details: Haidai added that he could not yet report the losses Russian forces suffered as a result of the explosions.
