Quote: "There is a heightened threat of missile strikes and other provocations, both from within the country and from the outside. Russia and Putin's regime have attacked Ukraine’s independence and the independent Ukraine. They really are obsessed with dates and symbols, so it would be perfectly reasonable to be particularly careful and prepared for the fact that Independence Day [celebration] will also come under attack."

Details: Ukrainian intelligence insists that the state is prepared for possible attack in the light of the fact that Russia still has a large number of missiles that can inflict a lot of damage.

The Chief Intelligence Directorate stresses that air raid sirens are a serious signal that all Ukrainians must take care to heed, especially on 23 and 24 August, when all citizens have been asked to be particularly cautious.
