On the Sivershchyna front, Russia continues to deploy certain units of its Western Military District in the areas of Bryansk and Kursk oblasts in order to demonstrate its presence in the area and to pin down the Ukrainian army there [and therefore prevent them from being deployed to other fronts where there's more combat activity - ed.].

Details: In addition, on the Sivershchyna front Russian forces shelled areas in and around Senkivka and Mykolaivka (Chernihiv Oblast) and Katerynivka and Obody (Sumy Oblast) using tubed artillery.

There were no significant changes on the Volyn and Polissia fronts, where the Belarusian Armed Forces keep reinforcing the security of the Belarusian border with Ukraine in Brest and Gomel oblasts (of Belarus). The General Staff also notes that Russia continues to focus its main efforts on establishing control over the entire territory of Donetsk Oblast, maintaining control over the captured territories of Kherson, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia and Mykolaiv oblasts, and restoring the combat capability of units of its troops that had suffered losses. In addition, Russian troops are attempting to prevent the Armed Forces of Ukraine from mounting a counteroffensive.

The Russians are continuing to carry out airstrikes and missile strikes on civilian targets on the territory of Ukraine.

Russian forces are conducting combat operations in order to improve their tactical positions on the Slobozhanshchyna front, where they are also taking measures to replenish losses in military personnel and equipment.

Russian forces are continuing to actively carry out aerial reconnaissance using UAVs on the Kharkiv front. They are also are firing on military and civilian targets in areas in and around Udy, Bazaliivka, Slobozhanske, Duvanka, Peremoha, Velyki Prokhody, Ruska Lozova, Lebiazhe, Mospanove, Husarivka and Ruski Tyshky. Russian aircraft hit the areas in the vicinity of Staryi Saltiv, Verkhnii Saltiv, Pytomnyk, Mospanove and Husarivka.

On the Sloviansk front, Russian forces fired on areas in the vicinity of Krasnopillia, Mazanivka, Nova Dmytrivka, Chepil, Bohorodychne and Kurulka using tank guns, tubed artillery and multiple-launch rocket systems (MLRS).

The Russians are continuing to mount an offensive on the Donetsk front and are focusing their main efforts on the Bakhmut and Avdiivka fronts in particular.

On the Kramatorsk front, Russian forces fired on areas in and around Siversk, Zakitne, Pereizne, Hryhorivka, Verkhnokamianske and Pryshyb and waged an offensive battle near Krasnopillia.

On the Bakhmut front, the Russians fired on military and civilian infrastructure near Kostiantynivka, Bakhmutske, Pidhorodne, Yakovlivka, Vesela Dolyna and Bilohorivka. Russian aircraft conducted an airstrike on the positions of Ukrainian Defence Forces near Soledar. In addition, the Russians launched missile strikes on Soledar and Kostiantynivka. They attempted to conduct assault operations near Soledar, Kodema and Zaitseve, but failed.

On the Avdiivka front, Russian forces used tank guns and various types of artillery to fire on areas in and around Avdiivka, Oleksandropil, Marinka, Pervomaiske and Pisky and carried out airstrikes near Nevelske, Marinka and Krasnohorivka. The Russians also conducted offensive operations in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka, Pervomaiske and Nevelske.

On the Novopavlivka front, Russian troops fired on areas near Novomykhailivka, Yelyzavetivka and Novoukrainka. They conducted offensive operations near Novomykhailivka, but suffered losses and were forced to retreat.

On the Zaporizhzhia front, Russian forces fired on areas in and around Huliaipole, Shevchenko, Charivne, Novosilka, Vremivka, Vilne Pole, Mala Tokmachka, Poltavka and Dorozhnianka using rocket and tubed artillery, as well as tank guns. They waged offensive battles near Vremivka and Velyka Novosilka.

Russian forces are focusing their main efforts on the Pivdennyi Buh front on maintaining their current positions, preventing the Ukrainian forces from advancing and inflicting losses on units of Ukrainian troops. They are also taking measures to replenish their losses. In addition, the Russians fired on civilian infrastructure in and around Velyke Artakove, Mykolaiv, Andriivka, Posad-Pokrovske, Stepova Dolyna, Tavriiske, Bila Krynytsia, Partyzanske, Luch, Tokareve, Kamiane, Novovorontsovka, Poliana, Novooleksandrivka and Liubomyrivka. Russian aircraft carried out airstrikes near Andriivka, Olhyne, Trudoliubivka and Potomkyne. The Russians also launched missiles on Mykolaiv and Zatoka.

Russian forces are actively using UAVs in order to conduct aerial reconnaissance.
