Russia keeps 5 Kalibr carriers on standby in the Black Sea

The Russian Federation is keeping five Kalibr missiles carriers on standby, with a combined firing capacity of more than 30 missiles [in the Black Sea - ed.].

Quote: "The haval grouping in the Black Sea is increasing its presence to a total of 14 vessels, which are kept at what is estimated to be a safe distance beyond Cape Tarkhankut.

At the same time, 5 Kalibr missile carriers with a combined firing capacity of more than 30 missiles along with one LLS (large landing ship - ed.) are on standby."

Background: A day earlier, Operational Command Pivden (South) reported that the Russian Federation had increased its naval grouping in the Black Sea to 15 units.
