Ukrainian air defence brings down 4 Kalibr missiles over city of Dnipro

On the morning of 20 August, an explosion rocked the city of Dnipro. Head of the Oblast Military Administration Valentyn Reznichenko reported that a Ukrainian air defence system brought down four Kalibr missiles launched by Russian forces on the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

Details: Suspilne has reported an explosion in Dnipro. Reznichenko said that Ukrainian air defence systems brought down all four Kalibr missiles launched by Russian forces and aimed at Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
Later on, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, reported that the Ukrainian Armed Forces used only four S-300 missiles to bring down the four Russian Kalibr missiles near Dnipro.
In the afternoon, Mykola Lukashuk, Head of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast Council, showed the remains of the Kalibr cruise missiles that were shot down by the air defence system. Lukashuk also noted that fragments of one of the missiles fell in the city of Pokrov and damaged four private residential buildings.
