Zelenskyy: Russia still has the advantage in manpower and artillery, but Ukraine is doing everything possible to withstand

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said that Ukraine cannot completely overcome the Russian army’s advantage in artillery and manpower, but "everything possible and everything impossible" is being done to obtain weapons that will help to achieve that goal.

The word ‘HIMARS’ has become almost synonymous with the word ‘justice’ in our country, and the Ukrainian defence forces will do everything to ensure that the aggressors experience increasingly more painful losses every week thanks to these very effective systems.

It is true that we still cannot completely overcome the advantage of the Russian army in artillery and manpower, and this is very evident in the fighting, especially in Donbas, on the Pisky, Avdiivka and other fronts. It's just hell out there…

Background: On 1 August, Oleksii Reznikov, Minister of Defence of Ukraine, said that Ukraine had received four additional HIMARS (High Mobility Artillery Rocket Systems) from the US.
