Details: There are 12 seats and a screen with security cameras.
Additionally, there will be nearly 100 kg of sand to put out fire.
The walls of the shelter will be decorated with the mural by Yaroslav Yefremov. It will feature an inscription "Kharkiv is a hero city".
"We are making a unique mural at the transport stop. This is the first piece of the project of safe transport stops for the residents of Kharkiv and other Ukrainian cities. We have chosen the concept with sights and elements of architecture of Kharkiv in order to emphasise the city’s dignity", explained the artist.
Previously: Ihor Terekhov, the mayor of Kharkiv, reported that transport stops made of reinforced concrete are to be constructed in the city so that civilians can hide and wait until the air raid sirens turn off during an artillery attack. Safe transport stops will be set up in 25 places in Kharkiv. Up to 50 people can fit in there.
In Chuhuiv (Kharkiv Oblast) such shelters are also being built in the places of mass congestion of people in the city centre.
