Border guards killed 2 Russian infiltrators on Siverskyi Donets

Ukrainian defenders, while defending the border along the Siverskyi Donets river, killed 2 Russian infiltrators who were going to cross the river as part of a detachment.

Quote: "An ambush of one of the border guard units defending the border along the Siverskyi Donets [river - ed.] revealed a group of invaders. Before crossing the reservoir, infiltrators removed their uniforms and equipment and put them in their backpacks, obviously to make it more convenient to overcome the obstacle."

Details: At that moment the border guards attacked the infiltrators. Two of them were killed and another was injured. The rest of the infiltrators escaped.

Background: On 9 August, near the border with Belarus, border guards together with the National Police, explosives technicians and dog handlers discovered a cache of weapons left by the invaders.
