Turkey will help rebuild Ukraine: memorandum was signed in Lviv

In Lviv, Ukraine and Turkey signed a memorandum of understanding, which provides for the participation of the Turkish side in the post-war reconstruction of our country, the document was signed in the presence of the presidents of both countries.

Quote: "It is envisaged that Turkish state and business structures will be able to develop specific recovery projects, as well as provide consulting and technical assistance."
Details: As the first project, the reconstruction of the bridge in the village of Romanivka, the Kyiv region, which connects Bucha and Irpin with the capital, is being considered. It was destroyed during the Russian invasion.
The document was signed by Oleksandr Kubrakov, the Minister of Infrastructure of Ukraine, and Mehmet Muş, the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Turkey.
Subsequently, the parties will create a joint Ukrainian-Turkish Working Group on reconstruction issues.
Background: The President of the Republic of Turkey visited Lviv. President Zelensky, during the meeting with Tayyip Erdogan, has already discussed the grain initiative, the situation around the ZNPP and the defence interaction of the two countries.
