Dnipropetrovsk region: three attacks overnight, 15 shells fired on Nikopol

On the night of 17 August, Russian troops attacked the territory of Dnipropetrovsk Oblast three times, firing 15 shells on Nikopol and injuring one woman.

Quote from Reznichenko: "A night with three attacks... The Russian army struck both Kryvyi Rih and Nikopol districts.
Nikopol district was fired on twice. Fifteen shells from tubed artillery flew into residential areas of Nikopol. A 57-year-old woman was injured and has been taken to hospital.
In the city, 15 private houses, a school, cars, a shop and a church were damaged. Several gas pipelines and power lines were hit by shelling. Emergency crews are working at the scene."
Details: Yevtushenko specified that Nikopol was shelled with tubed artillery twice, around two and four o'clock in the morning.
"This time, the Russian army fought against a store, the Church of the Sign of the Mother of God, an educational institution, residential buildings, gas pipelines, and the power grid. Unfortunately, a resident of Nikopol was injured, and she was taken to hospital in a moderately serious condition with shrapnel wounds to the head and limbs," the head of the district administration said.
Vilkul added that restoration work is ongoing in the city.
In the Kryvyi Rih district, the Russian forces aimed Uragan self-propelled multiple rocket launcher systems at the hromada (amalgamated territorial community) of Apostolove. No damage or casualties have been reported.
Electricians are repairing a damaged line this morning in Velyka Kostromka, Zelenodolsk hromada. Up to a thousand people there were left without electricity due to an attack by Russian forces the previous evening.
