He added that a very large fire broke out in the latter following the attack: an administrative building is on fire. The State Emergency Service reported that the building began to collapse. Around a dozen cars parked outside the building also caught fire.

Initially two civilians have been reported injured, but later on Syniehubov said that there were five civilian casualties, quoting the numbers from the Centre for Emergency Medical Assistance.

Background: Russian forces attacked the Saltivskyi neighbourhood, hitting a residential building where several of the residents had hearing impairments, on the night of 17 August. A total of around 30 people lived in the building, including senior citizens and children. The attack killed seven civilians and injured 13.
