Sumy Oblast suffers 15 Russian attacks on 17 August, school and community centre damaged

Russian forces carried out a total of 15 attacks on Sumy Oblast over the course of 17 August. There are no casualties, but several buildings have been damaged.

Details: Russian forces fired a total of 176 shells and rockets.
Eight of the hromadas (amalgamated territorial communities) of Sumy Oblast came under Russian fire: Bilopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Esman, Krasnopillia, Yunakivka, Myropillia, Shalyhyne and Buryn.
Russian artillery shelling of the village of Studenok (Esman hromada) damaged windows in a local school, a community centre, and several private houses, outbuildings and fences belonging to local civilian residents. The Russians fired on the village again in the evening, causing a fire to break out in a house.
