The Russian army has had partial success at two points, but is failing along the rest of the front – General Staff report

The General Staff of Ukraine reported that the Russians have had partial success on the Avdiivka front and around Novomykhailivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. On all other fronts, the Russian army has been unsuccessful.

Details: On the Kharkiv front, the Russian soldiers fired from tanks, tubed and rocket artillery. The occupying forces tried to break through the defence of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the area of the settlements of Lebiazhe and Bazaliivka, but were unsuccessful and retreated.
On the Sloviansk front, the Russian occupiers tried to advance in the areas of Novodmytrivka and Mazanivka, but had no success and retreated.
On the Kramatorsk front, Russian forces unsuccessfully tried to improve their tactical position in the area of the settlement of Vesele with assault operations.
On the Bakhmut front, Ukrainian soldiers suppressed all attempts by Russian units to improve their tactical position in the areas of the settlements of Bilohorivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Kodema, Zaitseve and Maiorsk.
On the Avdiivka front, the Russian forces have had partial success in the area of the settlement of Opytne.
On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, the occupiers used tanks and artillery of various calibres to inflict fire damage. Aircraft and UAVs were also used. The invaders made an unsuccessful attempt to advance in the area of Shevchenko and have had partial success in the area of Novomykhailivka.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, the Russian forces continue to focus their efforts on holding occupied positions and preventing the Defence Forces from creating favourable conditions for a counteroffensive. Using the available firepower, Russian soldiers are trying to inflict maximum losses on the units of the Armed Forces along the contact line. They also carried out airstrikes near Bilohirka, Lozove, Bila Krynytsia and Posad-Pokrovske.
The Russian forces tried to improve their tactical position in the area of Bilohirka. The defenders of the Ukrainian Armed Forces completely ruined the plans of the invaders and pushed them back to their previous positions.
