The Smolensk region of Russia decided to "practice" serving summons to enlistment

The authorities of Russia’s Smolensk region and the local military commissariat of the region announced a "planned training" on the delivery of summons.

Details: On 17 August, the region conducts a "scheduled training session with a control notification of citizens who are in reserve."
The local enlistment office reported that in addition to notifying the "reservists" in the region, sites and notification HQs of districts and rural settlements would also be deployed. Summons will be handed over to citizens under the age of 60 who are registered in the military.
Those who received the summons were asked to appear at the military enlistment at the address and within the time period specified in the summon, in order to "clarify their personal data".
The military enlistment office said that the training is being conducted in order to check "the compliance of the capabilities and condition of the notification areas and headquarters of municipalities, and clarify the time indicators of their work."
