The situation in temporarily occupied Enerhodar is dangerous not only for Zaporizhzhia Oblast; the evacuation plan for the city and the radiation contamination risk zone is being adjusted to take into account the military situation.

Quote from Starukh: "The situation is dangerous and not only for Zaporizhzhia Oblast. If we take the 50 km zone of mandatory resettlement that may arise as a result of a possible accident at the nuclear power station in Enerhodar, then it is more than 200,000 [people] in our Oblast and under 200,000 in neighbouring Dnipropetrovsk Oblast... The cities of Nikopol, Marhanets, Enerhodar, Vasylivka, Dniprorudne and others."

Details: According to the head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, the evacuation plan for Enerhodar and the radiation contamination risk zone is being adjusted to take into account the military situation. The situation is under the control of the central government.

At the same time, Starukh noted that it is very difficult to fully implement civil protection measures, because part of the territory has been captured [by the Russian army].

Currently, the radiation situation at the nuclear power plant is stable. Indicators do not exceed the norm. But everything can change at any moment due to the senseless activity of the occupier.
