Sumy Oblast under Russian fire: combine harvester explodes on mine

The Russians carried out four attacks on the border hromadas (amalgamated territorial communities) of Shalyhyne, Khotin, Znob-Novhorodske in Sumy Oblast on 15 August, and a combine harvester exploded on a mine in Krasnopillia hromada.

Details: The Russian troops fired on Shalyhyne hromada using mortars and tubed artillery from 10:47 to 11:46, with 25 strikes reported in this locality. The attack continued after 14:00, with 15 strikes from MLRS.
Two mortar attacks have been reported in Khotin hromada.
A tripod-mounted automatic grenade launcher hit Znob-Novhorodske hromada eight times from 13:00 onwards.
A combine harvester belonging to a local farmer exploded on a land mine near the village of Hrabovske in Krasnopillia hromada. The combine operator was hospitalised in a critical condition.
