Russian occupiers attempted to break through Ukrainian defences in Kharkiv region and several other areas, but failed – General Staff

The Ukrainian General Staff notes constant attacks almost along the entire front line. In some places, in particular in Donbas, Russian troops attempted to advance.

Details: It is indicated that on the Sivershchyna front, in order to demonstrate their presence and restrain the units of the Defence Forces, the Russians opened fire from tubed artillery.
On the Kharkiv front, Russian occupying forces continue to destroy military and civilian infrastructure from all available weapon systems. The occupiers used combat aviation for strikes near Verkhnii Saltiv, Sosnivka and Rtyshchivka.
Russian forces tried to break through the defence line of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the Kozacha Lopan – Udy front. Ukrainian soldiers "responded harshly and pushed them back."
On the Sloviansk front, the enemy failed to push back our defenders in the areas of Hrushuvakha, Krasnopillia, Asiivka and Mazanivka with concentrated artillery fire. Then, they tried to improve the tactical position on the Dovhenke - Mazanivka front, but had no success there and withdrew.
On the Kramatorsk front, Russians shelled the areas of Spirne, Ivano-Darivka and Raihorodka. Russian aircraft performed combat flights near Spirne and Pryshyb.
The invaders tried to advance on the Ivano-Darivka, Vyimka, and Vesele fronts with offensive and assault actions. They failed completely and chaotically retreated to their previously occupied positions.
On the Bakhmut front, Russian forces tried to create favourable conditions for further offensive in separate areas by using available weaponry. They carried out airstrikes near Soledar and Yakovlivka and attempted to deliver an assault from the area of Vuhlehirska power station in the direction of the village of Vershyna. The Russians suffered losses and withdrew.
On the Avdiivka front, shelling took place in the vicinity of Krasnohorivka, Pisky, Opytne, Vodiane and Marinka. The occupiers also carried out airstrikes near Niu-York, Vodiane and Novobakhmutivka. Russian occupying forces could not improve the tactical position on the Staromykhailivka and Nevelske fronts.
On the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, Russian forces attacked towns and villages along the contact line with tanks, tubed artillery and MLRS. Russian aviation landed strikes near Novomykhailivka, Yelyzavetivka, Shcherbakiv and Charivne.
The occupiers tried to advance on the Slavne – Novomykhailivka, Solodke – Vodiane, Solodke – Volodymyrivka and Yehorivka – Pavlivka fronts. They faced a tough response, suffered losses and rolled back.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, Russian forces fired from tanks and artillery of various types along the contact line. They tried to break through the defences in order to prevent the regrouping of Ukrainian units and create favourable conditions for them to launch a counteroffensive. Russian forces carried out airstrikes near Andriivka, Myrne, Blahodatne and Lozove.
