Explosions heard in Enerhodar – mayor

Dmytro Orlov, the mayor of Enerhodar, reports that explosions are occurring in the town.

Quote: "There are explosions in Enerhodar near the stele with the name of the city on it, and near the house of worship. Exercise the utmost caution and leave the streets".

Background:

• On 14 August, the Russian occupers fired on Enerhodar, Zaporizhzhia Oblast 
• On 13 August, the occupiers launched attacks in the direction of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP). Due to this the authorities called upon the residents of Enerhodar to stay at home.
• On the evening of 6 August, the Russian occupiers launched missile attacks on Enerhodar, hitting the ZNPP site.
• On 30 July, in occupied Enerhodar, Russian military equipment burned down in front of the ZNPP hotel where Russians are stationed.
