UKRAINSKA PRAVDA – THURSDAY, 11 AUGUST 2022, 14:29
Vadym Boichenko, the mayor of Mariupol, reported that the occupiers won’t be able to start the heating season in the city because the gas supply system doesn’t work.

Quote: "The gas supply system doesn’t work so this year there will be no heating season. It will be very cold, and people already realise this. More and more residents are leaving the city".
Details: He added that the local drainage system doesn’t work either. It will take 1.5-2 years to repair it. The Russian occupiers cannot provide the residents with drinking water, and the technical water supplies will only last for 9 months.
Background:
- In June, Petro Andriushchenko, the advisor to the mayor of Mariupol, claimed that the situation with water supply in the city was getting worse, and people are forced to draw water from puddles.
- Earlier, Boichenko also stated that there will be no heating season in the city because Russians had destroyed all the infrastructure, and they were not carrying out any preparations.
