Ship with Ukrainian grain refused by Lebanon docks in Turkey

A ship with Ukrainian corn, which was previously rejected by a buyer in Lebanon due to "violation of delivery terms" has docked at the port of Mersin in Turkey.
This is known from the data of the Marine Traffic vessel tracking service, Ambassador of Ukraine to Lebanon Ihor Ostash at a briefing at the Ukraine – Ukrinform Media Centre.
"The Razoni ship, which was the first to leave Odesa port and was heading to the port of Tripoli in Lebanon has docked in the port of Mersin in Turkey, which means that all the problems surrounding this dry cargo have disappeared," he said.
Ostash added that after the customer refused the cargo at the port of Tripoli (Lebanon), he saw a huge interest in Ukraine for the supply of grain to the countries of the Middle East.
According to Marine Traffic, the ship arrived at the port on August 9.

A buyer in Lebanon refused a shipment of Ukrainian corn, which was loaded onto the first ship that left a Ukrainian Black Sea port after the start of a full-scale war. The buyer refused to accept the cargo due to the delay of delivery by more than 5 months.
On the morning of August 1, Ukraine’s infrastructure minister reported that the RAZONI ship had sailed from Odesa under the flag of Sierra Leone with 26,000 tons of Ukrainian corn. On the evening of August 2, the Ministry of Defence of Turkey confirmed the arrival of the RAZONI grain carrier ship with Ukrainian grain.
