Russian forces strike Mykolaiv: 3 civilians injured, including teenager

On the night of 9 August, Russian forces used the Smerch (Tornado) Multiple-Launch Rocket System (MLRS) to attack the city of Mykolaiv. Eight private houses were damaged and three civilians – including a 13-year-old girl – sustained injuries.

Details: Eight privately owned houses were damaged in the Russian attack; a fire broke out in another house. Several houses were left without power.

Storage facilities and a motor pool of a local business were also damaged.

Earlier: Since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion in Ukraine, Russian occupying forces have already destroyed over 9,000 civilian targets in Mykolaiv Oblast, including over 300 educational establishments and over 100 industrial facilities.
