Pregnant woman and pensioner injured: new details of Dnipropetrovsk attack

A pregnant woman, who is in hospital in a critical condition, and a pensioner have been injured as a result of overnight shelling in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Quote: "Soldiers of the aggressor state have launched an artillery attack using multiple-launch rocket systems on the town of Marhanets and the village of Chervonohryhorivka in the Dnipropetrovsk region. As a result of the attack, two civilians have been injured. One of them, a pregnant woman, has been taken to hospital in a critical condition."
Details: Rescue workers report that a 31-year old woman has been injured in Marhanets. Six children aged 2 to 12 were also inside one of the damaged houses when the attack was launched, but none of them has been injured. During the attack on Chervonohorivka a 69-year old woman sustained shrapnel wounds but is being treated at home.
In total 28 private houses, 16 outbuildings, 7 vehicles, a low-pressure gas pipeline and power lines have been damaged as a result of the attack.
Background:
- On the night of 31 July, Russians launched attacks on two districts in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast – Nikopol and Kryvyi Rih – which resulted in two women being injured.
- On 30 July in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast the occupiers fired up to 80 rockets from Grad MLRS on the hromadas [Amalgamated Territorial Communities] of Nikopol and Chervonohryhorivka.
