24 hours in Sumy region: almost 90 strikes, wheat field burned

During the day, the Russians shelled Sumy region 7 times – as a result of the shelling, a field in the Bilopillia hromada [Amalgamated Territorial Community] caught fire, and 25 hectares of wheat were destroyed.

Details: More specifically, shelling on the outskirts of one of the villages in the Bilopillia hromada  began at noon, with the Russians opening fire three times using artillery and mortars. At least 24 shells landed during more than two hours of shelling. Two civilian cars were destroyed, and a farm property was damaged.

Mortar and artillery attacks began at 13:30 in Seredyna-Buda hromada, with about 35 incoming strikes. They hit land in the Desna-Starohutskyi National Nature Park. Damage was caused to the natural environment and the premises of a research department.

The Russians opened artillery fire at 14:30 in the Krasnopillia hromada. There were three attacks within an hour on different parts of the community's territory. In total, there were almost 30 incoming strikes in the vicinity of three villages. Preliminary reports indicate there were no casualties or damage.

It was reported that there have been a total of about 90 strikes from various types of weapons in just one day.
