"EUROPEAN  PRAVDA" SATURDAY, JULY 9, 2022, 22:20

A member of the USA House of Representatives, Victoria Spartz, said that the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy "must solve the problem" of Andrii Yermak and urged the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine to take her statements seriously.

It is highlighted in the statement on her website, "European Pravda" writes.

"I know that President Zelensky is fighting a dangerous war with a cunning enemy. He spends much of his time building international support to defend his country, but he has a lingering internal issue he needs to address – Head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak.

Spartz listed several serious accusations against Yermak:

- Leaking information to Belarus and ultimately to Russia on Ukraine’s operation to capture the "Wagner Group", which led to its failure;

- Mismanaging failed peace negotiations with Russia before the war;

- Assuring Ukrainian leadership that no attack by Russia was going to happen this February, contrary to western intelligence, to prevent Ukraine from properly preparing for the war;

- Sabotaging Kherson and giving it to the Russians to set up the "Azov" battalion tragedy;

- Delaying purchases of urgent military equipment through the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and demanding unreasonable or even illegal terms; and

- Purposely delaying through Deputy Oleg Tatarov the appointment of an independent anti-corruption prosecutor.

Spartz also said that she has received support from Americans and Ukrainians, and understands why her comments shocked the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.

"I encourage the Ministry to consider my statement with the kind of seriousness these questions about Mr. Yermak demand, instead of launching ad hominem attacks as they have thus far. Ukrainians and Americans will be better served by our governments responding with due diligence – not defensive platitudes.," the statement said.

As reported, Victoria Spartz on Friday appealed to USA President Joe Biden with a request to provide an explanation regarding the surveillance procedures related to the Рead of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak.

In response, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs criticized Spartz's appeal, saying that her actions "are an undisguised attempt to return to American politics the classic narratives of Russian propaganda about the supposed ties of the leadership of Ukraine with Russia and involve our state in the domestic politics of the United States.
