Luhansk region: Russians try to advance on Donetsk Oblast – Head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration

The Russian occupiers are making attempts to advance from settlements in the Luhansk region to some of the first villages of Donetsk Oblast.

Quote from Haidai: "It may seem that the occupiers are conducting an offensive operation west of Lysychansk and that is all. However, we are trying to contain the armed formations of the Russians along the entire front line. They are not abandoning their attempts to break into the neighbouring oblast along the administrative border. They are attacking from several directions."
Details: The head of the Oblast Military Administration said that where it is inconvenient for the occupiers to move forward, they create a real inferno, shelling areas from Kreminna to Popasna.
Last night alone, 9 missile attacks, 8 artillery attacks, and 3 mortar attacks were recorded.
Haidai noted that the occupiers had achieved minor successus during 8 July and had continued their offensive west of Lysychansk.
At the same time, the head of the Oblast Military Administration emphasised that the Ukrainian military is courageously holding its ground.
