Ukraine’s grain harvest tops one million tonnes to date – Ministry of Agriculture

In almost all regions of Ukraine, farmers have started harvesting early grain and leguminous crops - 1.1 million tonnes of grain have been threshed so far.
This was reported to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy.
So far, grain has been harvested on an area of 417,300 hectares (3%) with a yield of 26.3 centners per hectare:
717,800 tonnes of winter barley have been threshed (254,300 hectares with a yield of 28.2 centners per hectare);
355,800 tonnes of winter wheat have been threshed (147,900 hectares, with a yield of 24.1 centners per hectare);
24,600 tonnes of peas have been threshed (15,100 hectares, with a yield of 16.2 centners per hectare).
In addition, agricultural producers of 8 oblasts have started harvesting winter rapeseed, which was harvested on an area of 43,500 hectares (4%), 67,300 tonnes of seeds were threshed with a yield of 15.5 centners per hectare.
