Russians destroy villages in order to occupy entire Luhansk region – Luhansk Oblast Military Administration

The Russian invaders, who are aiming to occupy the entire Luhansk region, are mercilessly shelling settlements near the administrative border of the oblast.

Quote from Haidai: "In order to reach the administrative border of the Luhansk region, the Russians are destroying the surrounding villages using artillery. They are not stopped even by the fact that there are still civilians dying in their houses and gardens.

They keep on firing heavily at Bilohorivka and Zolotarivka with all types of heavy weapons. Tubed and rocket artillery are being used. They hit houses, every building that seems to them a possible fortification. In order to advance, they do not consider personal losses and do not spare the residents of the oblast."

Details: The head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration said that the situation is similar in the settlements in Donetsk Oblast, which are located near the border with the Luhansk region.

At the same time, Haidai emphasised that the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding their ground.

He said that even those fighters who covered the centralised withdrawal of defenders from Lysychansk had inflicted significant losses on the Russians.
