Occupiers are advancing on the Bakhmut front – General Staff summary

The Russian invaders continue to advance on the Bakhmut front, while at the same time, Ukrainian defenders have repelled Russian assaults on the Kharkiv and Sloviansk fronts.

Details: On the Volyn and Polissia fronts there are no significant changes in the composition and activities of the units of the Armed Forces of Belarus in the border areas of the Brest and Gomel regions [of Belarus - ed.].
On the Sivershchyna front, the Russian forces fired rocket artillery and mortars at the area of Mykhalchyna Sloboda, Chernihiv Oblast.
On the Kharkiv front, the occupiers continue to conduct defensive operations. Russian forces fired near the settlements of Kharkiv, Mykilske, Lebiazhe, Udy, Dementiivka, Verkhnii and Staryi Saltiv, Petrivka, Ruski Tyshky and Bairak using artillery, multiple-launch rocket systems and tanks. They also conducted an airstrike near Petrivka.
Ukrainian soldiers decisively suppressed an attempted Russian assault towards Dementiivka.
On the Sloviansk front, the Russian occupying forces fired artillery of various calibres on the areas near Volobuivka, Khrestyshche, Husarivka, Chepil, Mazanivka, Dolyna, Chervone, Dibrivne, Bohorodychne and Adamivka.
The Ukrainian soldiers inflicted losses on the Russian army during their offensive attempt near the village of Bohorodychne and pushed the invaders back.
On the Kramatorsk front, the occupiers shelled the areas of Siversk, Hryhorivka, Bilohorivka, Zolotarivka, Serebrianka, Verkhnokamianske, Zvanivka and Rozdolivka districts using tube and rocket artillery. The Russian army led an offensive in the area of Verkhnokamianske, with partial success.
On the Bakhmut front, the Russian occupying forces shelled the areas near the settlements of Bakhmut, Spirne, Ivano-Darivka, Berestove, Pokrovske, Vershyna, Volodymyrivka, Opytne, Toretsk, Zaitseve, Kodema, Klynove and New-York using mortars, tube and rocket artillery. They carried out airstrikes near Vershyna and Vuhlehirsk Power Station.
The occupiers are advancing in the areas of Vesela Dolyna and in the area of the settlement of Spirne, with hostilities continuing.
On the Avdiivka, Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhia fronts, exchange of fire continues with mortars, tanks, tube and rocket artillery along the front line. Russian forces launched airstrikes near Vasylivka, Avdiivka, Novoselivka, Vesele and Novomykhailivka.
On the Pivdennyi Buh front, the Russians are concentrating their efforts on preventing the offensive of the Defence Forces of Ukraine. The Russian army systematically fires from tube and rocket artillery along the front line to pin down the Ukrainian troops.
Ukrainian aircraft and missile and artillery units continue to inflict fire damage on concentrations of Russian manpower, military equipment and ammunition depots.
