Ukrainian military forces have returned the Ukrainian flag to Zmiinyi (Snake) Island, which was under Russian control for a few months.

Details: Bratchuk reported that the State Flag of Ukraine has been raised on Zmiinyi (Snake) Island (an island in the Black Sea that belongs to Izmail district of Odesa Oblast).

The inscription on the flag reads: Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine. "Bear in mind, ‘Russian warship’, Zmiinyi (Snake) Island is Ukraine!" – and the signature of Maksym Marchenko, the head of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration.
