Russian invaders launched missile attacks on Odesa Oblast and Zmiinyi (Snake) Island at dawn on 7 July.

Details: According to preliminary data, there were no casualties.
Two Russian missiles also significantly damaged the quayside on Zmiinyi Island.

Background:
- On 30 June, the Russian occupiers fled from Zmiinyi Island after Ukrainian forces launched multiple attacks on it, some of them using Ukrainian Bohdana howitzers.
- Lately, the Russian authorities have claimed that Russian military forces had allegedly "completed their mission on Zmiinyi Island'' and, "as a gesture of good will", had withdrawn the garrison stationed there.
- Valeriy Zaluzhnyy, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, showed how the occupiers were expelled from Zmiinyi Island.
- On 4 July, it was reported that the Ukrainian flag was delivered to Zmiinyi Island.
