Annexation or quasi-republics: Intelligence Service reveals Russian Federation scenarios for occupied territories

According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russia is working on several scenarios for the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine: from annexation to the creation of quasi-republics.

Details: According to Budanov, the invaders are preparing pseudo-referendums for 11 September in the newly occupied territories in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia oblasts. However, a single scenario for how events will develop has not yet been determined, according to the Chief Intelligence Directorate.

They are preparing for accession, but there are other options in parallel. The creation of new "people's republics", the creation of one large "people's republic", the annexation of a large portion of territory to Russia, the annexation of a separate territory to Russia – all this will be decided, as always in Russia, on the last day."
