The head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration, Oleksandr Starukh, called for residents of the region to leave the combat zone.

Quote from Starukh: "There are localities where 80% of residents have left. There are some places where people left but some of them are now returning. People are changing their minds. People were afraid of the first attacks, but now they are used to them…
Despite this, we call on our fellow countrymen to leave the combat zone.
Our priority is to save people's lives. If there is life and health, everything can be rebuilt. If there is no life or health, then nothing will need to be rebuilt. That's why we strive to save people."
