Teachers collaborating with the occupying authorities in the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk Oblast, in particular in Mariupol, have passed the so-called "recertification" process for the Russian education system before the start of the new school year.

This was stated by Petro Andriushchenko, adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, on Telegram.

Andriushchenko said that the educators even received certificates from the occupying "authorities", which probably attest to their readiness and "suitability" to teach children in the occupied Ukrainian territories according to Russian standards.

"Teachers from Mariupol (together with others from Donetsk Oblast) have completed recertification for knowledge and teaching of Russian propaganda to the children of Mariupol. They even received the appropriate papers and are returning home.

What a business trip, worth 15 years for treason and collaboration," Andriushchenko emphasised.

In the photos he published, there are several dozen educators. Andriushchenko is convinced that all of them came to the "recertification" voluntarily.

"Judging by the photo, it doesn't smell like coercion. Now we are engaged in the identification of all these "sh**ts" in education. Everyone will be identified. Retribution awaits everyone," the adviser to the mayor of Mariupol emphasised.

He also added that it is possible to report collaborators, the movement of the Russian occupying forces, the storage of their equipment or the location of the leadership of the Russian occupiers using a chatbot.

Recall that under the article on collaboration of the Criminal Code of Ukraine, educators who engage in Russian propaganda in educational institutions, cooperating with the occupying "authorities", will be subject to sanctions. This is particularly the case for those who succumbed to pressure from the invaders and taught children according to the educational programme of the aggressor state.

Such actions will be interpreted by the law as collaboration and will incur criminal liability:

  • community service for a period of up to two years;
  • detention for up to six months;
  • imprisonment for a term of up to three years with deprivation of the right to hold certain positions or engage in certain activities for a term of ten to fifteen years.
