Sumy Oblast: Russians shell two hromadas near the border

On the morning of 28 July, Russians used mortars to shell two hromadas [amalgamated territorial communities] near the Ukrainian-Russian border in Sumy Oblast.

Quote from Zhyvytskyy: "Just before 6:00 in the morning, Russians shelled the Khotyn hromada with a mortar. 5 strikes. At 8:30 there was a mortar attack on the Krasnopillia hromada. 15 strikes."
Details: The head of the Oblast Military Administration noted that in all cases there were no casualties and no destruction.
He also added that after midnight, Russians forces shelled one of the villages of the Esman hromada with mortars – there were 6 strikes and no casualties.
According to Zhyvytskyy, on 28 July from 10:00 to 13:00, the bomb disposal unit of the State Emergency Service will be at work in the Sumy district.
