Quote from Come Back Alive: "Unbelievable. Benefactors have transferred over 4 billion hryvnias to our accounts since the beginning of 2022. And this is WITHOUT taking cryptocurrency transfers into account.
As of today, 27 July, the majority of the funds have arrived in our Fund’s accounts after the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion."
Details: A total of almost 866,000 payments have been made into the fund’s account.
Come Back Alive added that the fund was able to use the raised money to purchase:
- one Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial system with three attack drones worth over $16.5 million,
- 25 Leleka-100 systems,
- 10 PD-2 drones with ground stations,
- and "many other essentials needed on the front lines."
Earlier: On 23 February, Taras Chmut, the director of Come Back Alive, confirmed that the fund has collected more in one day than in the whole of the previous year – over 20.5 million hryvnias.
