The Chief Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine says that the Russian occupiers are preparing a fake "investigation" into the events that took place in the Mariupol Drama Theatre so as to blame the crime on Ukrainians.

Quote: "The occupiers are preparing to publish their own pseudo-investigation into the circumstances of the bomb attack on the Mariupol Drama Theatre. The purpose of this measure is to try to absolve themselves of any responsibility for the killing of the several hundred civilians who were hiding in the theatre at the time of the attack. Most of them were women and children.
With the help of several film crews from Russian TV channels, the occupiers are currently making staged videos that supposedly ‘prove’ that the explosion in the Mariupol Drama Theatre took place inside the premises. All the destruction allegedly occurred ‘as a result of the detonation of a large number of explosives’, and the number of fatalities was no more than 14 people.
The Russian propagandists have even found so-called ‘eyewitnesses’ who saw ‘people in military uniform carrying boxes’ into the building the day before."
Details: The Chief Intelligence Directorate emphasised that the bombing of the Mariupol Drama Theatre was one of the most heinous war crimes committed by the Russian occupiers during the war against Ukraine.
According to Ukrainian intelligence, Russian planes deliberately dropped two 500-kg aerial bombs on the theatre building.
Intelligence reports say up to 1,000 civilians were sheltering in the theatre at the time of the attack. The vast majority of them were women and children who were hiding from Russian shelling.
According to various estimates, between 300 and 700 people died there in the attack. It is not yet possible to give an exact estimate, as the occupiers did not allow rescue workers to approach the ruins, the Chief Intelligence Directorate explains.
